Looking back at where you were a year ago is a great way to learn about yourself. You can learn how far you’ve come and the challenges you’ve grown from or you can look back and say….hmmmmm, why didn’t I do this or that. If you’re in the latter category, that’s okay, that’s the awesome thing we can always start today.
One year ago I wasn’t thinking “oh yeah I want to start a blog!” But I did know I wanted something. Just didn’t know what that something might turn out to be. I really like my job but I wanted something to fulfill the other parts of my mind that I don’t always get to engage at work. For me I wanted more of a creative outlet, something new and challenging and something I could grow with. Who knows what this little venture could blossom into. Maybe nothing or maybe something! That’s exciting to me, you just never know what’s in store for you, but do you want to know something I truly believe? I truly believe that each experience we have in life is an opportunity to learn something and we will draw on these experiences in some fashion at another point in our lives.
Fortunately for me I get to enjoy this venture with my daughter. She continues to impress and amaze me and through this blog I am learning more about her and just simply learning more. So as I look back one year ago it’s hard to believe that that we are almost six months into this blog and will keep pressing on.
I am looking forward to what is in store throughout this year for me and to reflect back and see how I have grown. And you should be too! There are no boundaries to what you can do – only the boundaries you allow to exist in your mind.
